Principal's Message
Government Polytechnic Roing is a young and vibrant technical college established in the year 2014. The polytechnic is located in a picturesque and serene location in a sprawling campus of 30 acres land in village Simari near Roing in the district of Lower Dibang Valley. It is one of the five new colleges which have started its academic activity since July /2014 with 30 students in Civil Engineering Department and 4 faculties. The Polytechnic is imparting diploma program in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The college is striving to provide quality technical education to the incumbents with an avowed objective of building a committed and technical human resource which can cater to the demand of the society and the state. As every institute is identified by its unique features, GPR will, in the course of its journey, be identified as a centre of excellence in technical education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in particular and the entire North -east region of India in general. I call upon all to provide valuable inputs in attaining these dreams and make this institute, an institution of pride as it moves from its present stage of infancy to adulthood.
